Angelika Kammann graduated from Paris fashion school ESMOD in 1999 to immediately start the journey into fashion at the german fashion label STRENESSE by Gabriele Strehle back in Germany. Working alongside Mrs Gabriele Strehle, founded her instinctive and elaborative love for high end Ready to Wear and started her ascent into the pinnacle of fashion.

She later moved to Milan, still collaborating for STRENESSE. Being based in one of fashion’s most iconic capitals, strengthened her passion for fashion and and her enormous curiosity for foreign languages and cultures.

She eventually moved to New York to establish her eponymous label THE GERMAN FRAEULEINS. The ying and yang between New Yorks multicultural, highly inspirational energy and her german background lay the ground for a brand, which soon became recognised as one of fashions uprising knitwear brands.

Having lived the inspirational New York life, she then felt for moving back to Europe and accepted an offer from the iconic german brand ESCADA.

Each season Angelika Kammann conceptualizes and creates knitwear and ready to wear looks for the most important german fashion brands ESCADA SPORT, WUNDERKIND / LOOKS by Wolfgang Joop and TALBOT RUNHOF. With her incomparable mastery and iconoclastic vision, Angelika Kammann defines modernity and brings highly creative artisanry into the collections. It is undeniable, she has a strong and timeless influence in the fashion industry.
